Portrait of Coast Salish and Musqueam artist Leila Stogan

Leila Stogan

Leila Stogan is a Coast Salish artist from the Musqueam Nation whose work reflects the deep relationship between textiles, storytelling, and the natural world. Her practice draws from ancestral weaving traditions, using pattern and form to carry cultural knowledge forward.

“Our stories and traditions are woven into our textiles. These woven designs reflect our ancestral traditions and our connection to nature.”

This collection features works that honour Coast Salish weaving as both an art form and a living record of identity, land, and community. Each piece reflects continuity, care, and respect for tradition through contemporary expression.
