He trained at the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art, where he developed skills across multiple mediums, including carving masks, paddles, and bowls.

Roger’s work has been exhibited in galleries and museums such as the Terrace Art Gallery and the Kitimat Museum. He has received scholarships and awards for his work and has apprenticed under established Haida artists. Alongside fine art, his designs appear on blankets, apparel, and accessories through creative collaborations, extending Haida visual language into contemporary forms.
