A cedar hat form hand-crafted from solid cedar. A hat form is the wooden mould a weaver shapes a cedar bark hat over. The woven bark is dampened and drawn down over the form, and the form gives the finished hat its wide brim and rounded crown. Built from cedar blocks stacked and turned smooth, with a small peg hole at the top, each form highlights the natural grain and warmth of the wood.
